A pneumatic cylinder converts compressed air into stable linear push-pull force. It typically consists of a cylinder tube (6063 aluminum extrusion or stainless steel), a piston rod, end caps, a piston, and sealing elements.
Whether you need a quick ISO standard replacement, anti-rotation for off-center loads, or a long-stroke, space-saving rodless design, we offer the right series and an order-ready parameter checklist for each option.

ISO standard pneumatic cylinders
The biggest value of the ISO system is speed and fewer mistakes. When you replace an existing brand, match the standard, bore, stroke, mounting style, and port thread.
You get faster interchangeability and unified spares, with less downtime risk and lower maintenance cost.
ISO 15552 profile cylinders(DNC)
ISO 15552 is one of the most common profile cylinder standards in industrial automation.
It standardizes mounting dimensions and supports universal accessories and mounting styles. This helps reduce maintenance effort and spare parts cost.
-
DNC Series Pneumatic Cylinder
DNC is our main general-purpose option. It covers common bores and mounting styles. It also has adjustable cushioning on both ends. It fits most linear push/pull, clamping, and positioning cycles.
For brand replacement or project spare parts, DNC is often the safer, easier choice.
-
SC Series Standard Tie Rod Pneumatic Cylinder
SC (tie rod) is built for heavier loads and larger bores. It offers a wider bore range (up to 250 mm). It works well for long strokes, higher thrust, and harsher conditions.
It also supports adjustable air cushioning on both ends for smoother running.
Within the ISO 15552 system, we mainly supply DNC standard profile cylinders and SC tie rod cylinders for large bores (tie rod).

ISO standard pneumatic cylinders replacement interchange guide
If you are using cylinders from SMC, Festo, Parker, or similar brands, you may worry about alignment, port connection, cushioning, and sensor compatibility. You may also worry about stability after replacement.
You only need to provide the following information:
- Current brand + model (a nameplate photo is best)
- Bore × stroke
- Mounting style (foot, flange, trunnion, etc., or a photo of the mounting position)
- Port thread (G/PT/NPT) and port size
- Cushioning and sensor needs (adjustable cushioning? need a magnetic switch?)
- Working pressure / temperature, and whether there is off-center load / side load
Send your current model / nameplate photo and bore × stroke.
We will first check interchangeability and confirm mounting dimensions, then quote after everything is verified.
Guided pneumatic cylinders (guiding anti-rotation side load)
When your station does more than simple push-pull, you may face off-center load or side load, anti-rotation needs at the rod end, fixture positioning, or slide-table motion and alignment.
A standard cylinder can easily bind, vibrate, or drift off position. For these conditions, choose a guided cylinder or a slide-table cylinder.

Guided slide table CXSW
When a station needs loaded linear sliding and positioning, a standard cylinder can bind or vibrate due to side load and limited anti-rotation.
This can cause misalignment and strong end impact.
In this case, a slide-table guided cylinder with an integrated guide block is a better choice.
-

Get a quoteSurface treatment and manufacturing risk control
A pneumatic cylinder works under internal pressure and repeated motion.
Two factors truly decide service life and stability: bore accuracy/roughness, and consistent wear resistance on the surface.
Bore accuracy and roughness: directly affect friction and seal life
If the cylinder runs smoothly and seals last longer, the key is the cylinder tube bore.
We use honing / fine grinding on the tube bore.
We inspect critical bore indicators to your drawing or standard.
The goal is:
- Low friction: smoother motion, no vibration at higher speed
- More stable seal life: less uneven wear and lower early air-leak risk
- Better consistency: easier batch assembly and less commissioning time
Surface treatment options: control wear resistance and consistency
Different conditions (high cycle, dust, light-load high speed, corrosive environments) need different surface performance.
We offer common options:
- Hard anodizing: our first choice for low friction, high wear resistance, and long service life
- Chemical oxidation: for general protection and consistent appearance
- Electrophoresis (optional): when you care more about appearance consistency and corrosion resistance
Just tell us your environment (dust / humidity / corrosion), cycle rate (high cycle / normal), and whether wear is severe. We will recommend the most suitable surface option.
